Calyx swell. My leaves rarely brown and die off even after flushing for 2 weeks. Usually I grow in soil so I expect the soil is holding some nitrogen and keeping the leaves going. Ive been waiting patiently for my diesel ryders trichs to recede but theyre taking their sweet time. Starting to wonder if they ever will. They were supposedly only suppose to take weeks, but im 2 days away from 11 so i guess thats bunk. Do the trichs always recede is my question i guess. The seed bracts should be swollen and the trichomes should be sticking straight out with bulbous ends. Another very important imho reason to let your plants mature is Terpenoid production. Terpenes are responsible for alot of the complex And enjoyable flavours that cannabis produces. My personal experience with this first came when i was growing GH cheese. Look at my trichs, they look nice and milky with a touch of amber just like the ones in the picture that says its harvest time now!!!
